Deportes Tolima Hosts Independiente Medellín in Liga BetPlay Match

Ibagué, Colombia – Deportes Tolima will face Independiente Medellín on June 4, 2025, in their second match of the Liga BetPlay semifinals. The game is set to kick off at 6:10 p.m. at the Estadio Manuel Murillo Toro.

Deportes Tolima, showing strong form, secured a valuable point in their opening match against Junior de Barranquilla. Coach Ismael Rescalvo expressed confidence in his team’s performance saying, “It’s essential that we finish with freshness, aiming to challenge the opponent. Independiente Medellín, however, missed an opportunity to start the tournament with a win after drawing 1-1 with América de Cali. A late equalizer from Washington Aguerre denied them their first three points after taking the lead earlier in the match. Coach Alejandro Restrepo remarked, “It was a very tactical game. We tried to regain control after a tough match.”
