Angel City FC Welcomes Chicago Stars for Pivotal Matchup

LOS ANGELES, CA — Angel City Football Club (ACFC) hosts the Chicago Stars on Saturday, June 7, at 7:00 p.m. PT at BMO Stadium. The game will be available for streaming via ION and AM980 KFWB will broadcast the match in English and Spanish.

Angel City enters the match coming off a 2-3 loss against Racing Louisville FC, where forwards Alyssa Thompson and Riley Tiernan scored for ACFC. On the other side, Chicago lost 1-3 to Kansas City Current, with midfielder Shea Groom scoring the lone goal for the Stars.

A significant factor affecting Chicago’s performance this season is the absence of U.S. Women's National Team forward Mallory Swanson, who is out due to pregnancy.
