Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited Teams Up With Bounce Infinity To Drive Ev Adoption

Indian oil and gas giant Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has announced a strategic partnership with Bengaluru-based electric vehicle manufacturer Bounce Infinity to boost the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in the country.

The collaboration aims to leverage BPCL’s vast network of fuel stations, totaling over 14,802 locations nationwide, to establish retail stores for two-wheeler EVs.

Under this partnership, select BPCL retail outlets will be transformed into ‘eDrive stores,’ serving as dedicated hubs for the sale of electric two-wheelers. These stores will be equipped with charging points, allowing customers to conveniently charge their vehicles on-site.

Pardeep Goyal, Business Head of Retail at BPCL, emphasized that the initiative is part of their strategy to evolve fuel stations into versatile energy hubs that align with customers’ changing needs and promote environmental sustainability.

Bounce Infinity, the EV manufacturer partnering with BPCL, will play a crucial role in providing marketing support, inventory management, and training for BPCL’s on-ground dealers.

Vivekananda Hallekare, CEO and Co-founder of Bounce Infinity, highlighted the significance of the collaboration in advancing sustainable mobility solutions and offering consumers easy access to their range of electric two-wheelers.
