Gypsy Rose Blanchard Announces Separation From Husband Ryan Anderson After Prison Release

Gypsy Rose Blanchard, known for her role in the murder of her mother Clauddine ‘Dee Dee’ Blanchard, has announced her separation from husband Ryan Anderson just three months after being released from prison.

Blanchard, who was convicted for her involvement in the death of her mother, revealed the news of the split on her private Facebook account, following the deletion of her highly-followed social media profiles.

Initially sentenced to 10 years for the murder, Blanchard served close to eight years at the Chillicothe Correctional Center in Missouri, where she met and eventually married Ryan Anderson, a special education teacher from Louisiana.

The high-profile case, which inspired the Hulu mini-series ‘The Act,’ involved Nick Godejohn, who carried out the murder at Gypsy Rose’s request after years of deception about her health conditions orchestrated by her mother.

Upon her release from prison, Blanchard and Anderson quickly married, expressing hopes of starting a family together and beginning a new chapter in their lives.

However, Blanchard recently announced the unfortunate turn of events, stating that she and Anderson are undergoing a separation and that she has moved back to her parents’ home in Louisiana, away from their shared residence in Missouri.

The news comes shortly after Blanchard decided to step back from social media, citing the need for personal space and a break from the public eye after the intense scrutiny she faced both during and after her time in prison.
