Canadian tennis player Milos Raonic faced off against Britain’s Cameron Norrie in a thrilling match at the Queen's Club in London. The intense encounter saw Raonic triumph over Norrie in a nail-biting three-set battle.
Raonic clinched the victory with a scoreline of 6-7 (6-8), 6-3, 7-6 (11-9), showcasing his exceptional serving skills throughout the match. Both players displayed remarkable prowess on the grass court, with the outcome hanging in the balance until the final tiebreak.
The initial set went to a tense tiebreak, with Norrie narrowly taking the lead. However, Raonic staged a comeback in the second set, securing the only break of the match and forcing a deciding set.
With the match on a knife’s edge, the third set also unfolded in a tiebreak. Raonic, a former Wimbledon finalist, held his nerve and eventually sealed the win after a series of riveting exchanges with Norrie.
Raonic’s formidable serve was a key factor in his victory, as he fired an impressive 47 aces during the match. Norrie, on the other hand, delivered a commendable performance with 12 aces of his own.
