Nollywood actress and media personality, Sharon Okpamen, has tragically passed away following childbirth. Her death has caused a significant loss to the entertainment industry, where she was a respected figure.

Born on February 16, 1989, in Abudu, Edo State, Nigeria, Sharon was known for her remarkable acting skills and humanitarian efforts. She spent her formative years in her hometown of Abudu and received her education at Mary Milek Nursery and Primary School as well as the University Preparatory Secondary School (UPSS) in Benin. Sharon later pursued a degree in English at the National Open University (NOUN).

Sharon began her acting career in 2010, landing her first role in the film ‘Touch Not My Crown,’ which was given to her by renowned actor John Okafor, also known as Mr. Ibu. Over the years, she appeared in more than 100 films, establishing herself as a prominent figure in Nollywood.

Apart from acting, she also produced her own film titled ‘Night Hustlers.’ Sharon recently gave birth to her second child just a month prior to her passing. Following childbirth, it was reported that she fell into a coma and was unable to recover.

Sharon Okpamen passed away on August 24, 2024. Her legacy in the film industry will always be remembered, and her untimely death has deeply affected her colleagues and fans within Nollywood.
