Nova Pacific Metals Announces New Board Member Appointment
Vancouver, British Columbia — Nova Pacific Metals Corp. (CSE: NVPC) (OTCQB: NVPCF) (FSE: YQ10) (WKN: A40GFH) has named David Mark, a seasoned geoscientist, as a director of the company. With more than 56 years of expertise in mining exploration and geophysical consulting, Mr. Mark’s addition to Nova Pacific is expected to aid in advancing the Lara project, a key asset of the company.
David Mark has been a distinguished figure in the mining industry since 1965. He graduated with a focus in Geophysics from the University of British Columbia in 1968. Shortly thereafter, he took the role of chief geophysicist at Geotronics Consulting Inc., a position he assumed in 1969, and he fully acquired the company in 1972. Geotronics offers comprehensive services in geotechnical and environmental geophysics.
Malcolm Bell, CEO of Nova Pacific, expressed enthusiasm about the appointment, stating, “We are very excited to have David Mark join our Board of Directors. His lifetime of expertise in mineral exploration is invaluable as we advance the Lara deposit.” Mark’s experience is expected to contribute significantly to the explorative and developmental efforts at the Lara Project.
David Mark expressed his enthusiasm in joining Nova Pacific Metals and emphasized his commitment to developing the Lara Project. He noted the project’s significant geological potential, analogous to the Myra Falls deposit, which has proven substantial in Western Canada.
In recognition of his appointment, Mr. Mark has been granted 125,000 incentive stock options. These options vest immediately and allow for the purchase of one common share per option at a price of $0.37, under Nova Pacific’s stock option plan.
