Sheffield United fans, known as the Blades, are mourning the loss of their beloved former player, George Baldock. The Greek national football team expressed their sorrow over the loss of their teammate. “It is impossible to believe that our dear friend and teammate, George, is no longer with us. Baldock, who was found drowned in a communal pool near his home south of Athens, was just 31 years old. Originally from England, Baldock received 12 caps for the Greek national team, having played most of his career with English clubs MK Dons and Sheffield United, before joining Panathinaikos in the summer transfer window.
