Warm Weather Expected Ahead with Chance of Thunderstorms

CHICAGO, IL — The weather forecast for the upcoming week is warm with a chance of thunderstorms across the area. Starting on Thursday, temperatures may reach close to 90 degrees in some locations, particularly along the North Shore.
Today, residents can expect morning fog accompanied by scattered showers and a chance of thunderstorms before noon. The high is predicted to be around 73 degrees, with clouds lingering before sunny breaks in the afternoon.
This evening will bring mostly cloudy skies that will gradually clear, leading to a low temperature around 62 degrees. Areas of fog may develop overnight, affecting early morning visibility.
On Wednesday, expect patchy fog in the morning, followed by mostly sunny skies and a high nearing 83 degrees. The evening will remain mostly clear, with a low around 67 degrees.
The warm trend continues into Thursday, with some morning fog giving way to mostly sunny conditions. Highs will reach 85 degrees, and parts of the North Shore could even hit 90. Thursday night will see partly cloudy skies and a low around 63 degrees.
As the week progresses, Friday will be partly sunny with a high near 79, followed by scattered showers and more cloudiness on Saturday with a high around 72 degrees.
