8 Year Old Girl Found Safe After Amber Alert In Repentigny

An 8-year-old girl who was the subject of an AMBER Alert in Repentigny, Quebec, has been found safe and sound. The child was abducted on Saturday around 12:00 p.m. by a 51-year-old man, as reported by the Sûreté du Québec at 6:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

Shortly after the AMBER Alert was issued, the girl was located on the Kahnawake reserve in Montérégie.

The suspect, a 51-year-old man, will be interviewed by the Sûreté du Québec investigators regarding the situation.
