Indianapolis 500 Race Day Tickets

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — General Admission tickets for the 109th Running of the Indianapolis 500 are still available at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, despite all reserved seats being sold out. The historic race is set to take place on Sunday, May 25, 2025.

INDYCAR and IMS president J. Douglas Boles expressed excitement about the event, noting, “As promised, the very best fans in sports have delivered in fitting fashion for the stars of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, and every last reserved seat ticket has been sold.” An expected 350,000 fans will witness the spectacle in person, marking a significant milestone in the event’s history.

For fans looking to join the crowd, additional tickets are still available for pre-race events such as Miller Lite Carb Day and Legends Day, presented by Firestone. The Coors Light Snake Pit wristbands can also be purchased in conjunction with an Indy 500 General Admission ticket.

This year marks the first time the Indy 500 will air on FOX without a local broadcast delay, following the grandstand sellout. Expanded coverage will start at 10 a.m. ET on race day, with the green flag scheduled for around 12:45 p.m. ET.

In another highlight, popular Christian music artist Natalie Grant has been announced to sing the national anthem before the race. Grant, originally from Seattle but now based in Nashville, Tennessee, is a renowned singer known for winning multiple GMA Dove Awards. Her rendition of the anthem is expected to be a moving moment during the pre-race ceremonies.

<p“Natalie’s emotional and stirring rendition of the national anthem in front of the grandstand sellout crowd will be an unforgettable moment during pre-race ceremonies for the Indy 500,” said Boles regarding Grant’s performance, emphasizing the anthem’s significance in honoring the country.

Besides her singing career, Grant is actively involved in charity work. She co-founded Hope for Justice, an organization that combats human trafficking, and has authored 11 books.

Additionally, former NFL star Rob Gronkowski is set to serve as grand marshal for the Snake Pit on May 25, while Bret Michaels and the All-American Rejects will perform during Legends Day on May 24.
