Atletico Madrid Eyes Theo Hernandez Amid Valuation Dispute

Madrid, Spain — Atletico Madrid is still pursuing a deal to bring Theo Hernandez back from AC Milan, but the clubs remain far apart on the player’s valuation.
Earlier this week, reports indicated that AC Milan had reached an agreement with Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal for Hernandez. However, the Frenchman opted to reject the lucrative €18 million per year contract offered by Al-Hilal.
According to Sky Sports, Atletico Madrid has stepped in with a proposal that includes Nahuel Molina as part of an exchange deal. Nevertheless, AC Milan has not shown a willingness to entertain this type of operation, insisting instead on a cash-only offer.
Milan reportedly considers Atletico’s current cash offer too low. The Serie A club is demanding around €30 million, a figure that reflects the accepted bid from Saudi Arabia.
Hernandez reportedly prefers the idea of joining Atletico Madrid over a move to Al-Hilal. However, negotiations may stall unless Atletico can meet Milan’s valuation.
With time passing, both sides face the risk of a stalemate unless a resolution comes soon.
