Tarzana, California — Hollywood stars will gather for the Tarzana International Film Festival (TZIFF), which takes place from September 5 to 7. The event will feature a red carpet at Regal Cinemas in Sherman Oaks Galleria, showcasing more than 70 films.

The festival will kick off with the West Coast premiere of the action thriller “Gunner,” starring Chris Hemsworth and Morgan Freeman, and directed by Dimitri Logothetis. This electrifying film promises to draw attention on opening night.

Lou Ferrigno, famed for his role as the Incredible Hulk, will present awards during the festival. The celebrations will conclude with a gala and awards dinner at the Braemar Country Club.

In honor of the 150th anniversary of writer Edgar Rice Burroughs’ birth, TZIFF will pay tribute to the late Ron Ely, who portrayed Tarzan in the NBC series during the late 1960s. Ferrigno will host this special event, which will also include the presentation of the Edgar Rice Burroughs Legacy Award to renowned author Kevin J. Anderson, known for his contributions to the “Dune” saga.

Additionally, TZIFF will collaborate with the Artificial Intelligence Media Festival to highlight films, music, and visual art created using AI and advanced digital technologies. Attendees can look forward to an AI Digital Art Exhibition in the theater lobby.

This year’s festival promises to be a memorable celebration of film, art, and cultural heritage.
