Effingham, IL — Barbra Streisand is set to release her highly anticipated album, “The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume Two,” on June 27, 2025. This new collection features duets with a lineup of prominent artists, including Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, James Taylor, Sting, Hozier, Laufey, Sam Smith, Tim McGraw, Josh Groban, Seal, and a special inclusion of Mariah Carey and Ariana Grande on the track “One Heart, One Voice.”

The first single, a duet with Hozier on the classic song “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face,” was released today. Hozier expressed his excitement about collaborating with Streisand, calling her an iconic vocalist. “To be asked to join her on a duet was a huge honor and came as a wonderful surprise,” he said in a statement.

Streisand, who initiated her music career decades ago, spoke about her love for collaborating with fellow artists. “I’ve always loved singing duets with gifted artists. They inspire me in unique and different ways and make our time in the studio a joy!” she said.

One notable track on the album is “The Very Thought of You,” where she collaborates for the first time with Dylan. This collaboration has been a long time coming, with both artists reflecting on their earlier plans to work together. “It’s taken 47 years, but the collaboration dreamed up in 1978 is finally happening,” Streisand noted.

Streisand’s album will also feature several songs written by her duet partners, adding a personal touch to the project. She collaborates with McCartney on “My Valentine,” with Smith on “To Lose You Again,” and with Taylor on “Secret O’ Life.” The album was produced by Walter Afanasieff and Peter Asher and recorded at the Streisand Scoring Stage in Culver City, California, as well as at Abbey Road Studios in London, accompanied by the London Symphony Orchestra.

The full tracklist includes 11 songs, showcasing a mix of classic standards and heartfelt new collaborations. Streisand hopes that fans will enjoy listening to the album as much as she enjoyed creating it.
