BOSTON, Mass. — The Boston College Eagles continue their impressive run in the ACC Tournament after an upset victory over the No. 6-seeded Virginia Cavaliers. Josiah Ragsdale, the Eagles’ top batter, lifted an opposite-field double that brought in two runs, giving Boston College the lead late in the game.

The Eagles had been trailing for much of the contest but found their rhythm just in time. This win marks another milestone for the team as they prepare to face the No. 3-seeded North Carolina Tar Heels in the quarterfinals.

The new-look ACC Tournament has seen numerous upsets from lower seeds this postseason, with Boston College proving to be one of the standout teams. Despite their record, the Eagles have shown they are capable of great performances when it matters most.

“We got hot at the right time,” Ragsdale said after the game. “Every game is a challenge, but we believe we can take on anyone.”

The quarterfinal matchup against North Carolina is scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on the ACC Network. Fans are eagerly looking forward to what could be another thrilling chapter in the Eagles’ postseason story.
