Bryce Harper to Appear on FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff Ahead of Ohio State-Nebraska Game
Philadelphia Phillies star Bryce Harper is set to make a special appearance on FOX‘s Big Noon Kickoff this Saturday, just hours before the highly anticipated college football matchup between Ohio State and Nebraska.
Harper will join the live broadcast in Columbus, Ohio, marking his second time participating in the pregame show for an Ohio State game in as many years. His connection to the Buckeyes stems from his wife, who played soccer for Ohio State. Harper himself is from Las Vegas and played one year of college baseball at the College of Southern Nevada.
The coverage is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. ET and will feature Harper as a special guest. This appearance is possible because the Phillies are not currently participating in the World Series, having been eliminated by the New York Mets in the NLDS this season.
Harper had another standout season with the Phillies, hitting .285 with 30 home runs and 87 RBIs. He also posted a .373 on-base percentage and made the All-Star team for the eighth time in his career. With a decorated career that includes two MVP awards, three Silver Slugger awards, a Rookie of the Year award, and a home run derby championship, Harper’s presence on the show is expected to be a highlight.
