Final Destination Bloodlines Horror Movie Trailer

LOS ANGELES, CA — New Line Cinema’s upcoming installment in the Final Destination franchise is making waves with its latest trailer release, generating 178.7 million views worldwide within the first 24 hours. This figure marks the second-highest all-time for horror movie trailers, trailing only behind New Line’s own It.

The trailer for Final Destination: Bloodlines debuted on Tuesday, ahead of the film’s scheduled release date of May 16, 2025. This marks the first new entry in the series in 14 years, with previous films collectively grossing over $666 million globally.

Final Destination: Bloodlines was released under embargo in 65 markets, showcasing 44 unique language versions. This strategic release is designed to maximize cross-market engagement, emphasizing the film’s global appeal.

Trailer traffic is a crucial metric in evaluating a film’s potential success, particularly in a landscape where TikTok views can significantly elevate viewership numbers. According to WaveMetrix, the reported figures do include TikTok traffic; however, even without those views, Bloodlines surpassed Sony’s upcoming horror film 28 Days Later, which garnered 60.2 million views upon its trailer release.

The franchise’s record-holder for the biggest opening weekend remains with The Final Destination, which generated $27.4 million in its opening weekend back in 2009. Fans of the series have already begun to express their excitement online, sharing reactions to the new trailer and highlighting the film’s potential to evoke fresh fears.

Directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein, the film is adapted from a script written by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor. The story is based on characters created by Jeffrey Reddick, who is also credited as a producer alongside Craig Perry and Sheila Hanahan Taylor.

The film features a cast that includes Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Anna Lore, Brec Bassinger, and Tony Todd, who reprises his role from the original films.

Final Destination: Bloodlines follows college student Stefanie, plagued by a recurring nightmare. She embarks on a perilous journey to find a way to save her family from a fatal fate that seems inevitable. With suspenseful elements woven into the narrative, the film vows to deliver the same thrill that has defined the franchise for years.
