Gasparilla Parade of Pirates Takes Over Tampa Bay

Tampa was transformed into a pirate’s haven on Saturday as the annual Gasparilla Parade of Pirates took center stage. Led by the magnificent pirate ship, Jose Gasparilla II, a vibrant flotilla made its way towards the Tampa Convention Center. Here, Mayor Jane Castor, with a hint of playfulness, handed over the symbolic key to the city to the scallywags of Ye Mystic Krewe, marking their triumphant arrival.
