Jake Elliott Nfl Kicker Salary And Contract

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — After nine seasons in the NFL, Jake Elliott has established himself not only as a reliable kicker for the Philadelphia Eagles but also as a significant financial presence among professional athletes. The Western Springs native began his NFL career in 2017 when the Cincinnati Bengals drafted him in the fifth round.

Though he did not last long with the Bengals, Elliott quickly found a home in Philadelphia. Over his career, he has secured a substantial net worth that is estimated to be around $45.7 million, according to Salary Sport. The 30-year-old kicker has played 83 games so far, successfully making 84.6% of his field goal attempts.

In March 2024, Elliott signed a four-year contract extension with the Eagles worth $24 million. This extension ranks him among the highest-paid kickers in the league. The deal includes a signing bonus of approximately $5.5 million and guarantees about $10.45 million, allowing him to remain with the Eagles through the 2028 season.

This season, Elliott’s base salary is reported to be around $1,255,000, with a cash payout of about $3 million. His financial growth continues to reflect his success on the field, with a calculated career earnings total of $28,169,401, encompassing all base salaries and bonuses from his NFL contracts, including his time at both Cincinnati and Philadelphia.

Elliott has also leveraged his success into lucrative brand partnerships, including a notable collaboration with Roy Pitz Brewing Co., which created a special IPA featuring his image. His visibility has increased through national television commercials, with data showing that he has participated in several campaigns.

A standout at the University of Memphis from 2013 to 2016, Elliott set school records, making 81 of 104 field goals and all 202 extra points, while finishing with a total of 445 points — the highest in Memphis history. He was drafted by the Bengals and subsequently joined the Eagles, where he made a memorable 61-yard game-winning field goal against the Giants in 2017, contributing to the Eagles’ Super Bowl LII victory.

Currently, Elliott has converted 77.8% of his field goal attempts this season. As the Eagles prepare to face the Green Bay Packers, fans will be watching to see if Elliott can continue to enhance his already impressive career portfolio.
