Kelly Brook Reveals Her True Self On Tv

Kelly Brook has opened up about her life and what it means to be on the upcoming reality show, Celebrity Race Across The World. According to her, the glamorous persona we’ve known as Kelly Brook is really more of an illusion.

In an interview with Metro, she shared that at 18, a photographer created the ‘Kelly Brook’ character to make her real name, Kelly Parsons, sound more appealing. Now at 44, she feels she’s grown into that persona but it’s stripped away on the show.

On Celebrity Race Across The World, Kelly is heading to South America with her husband Jeremy Parisi. They will join other celebrities to travel from Belem, Brazil to Frutillar, Chile, relying on limited resources and no internet to make it through.

Kelly described how the experience brought out a different side of Jeremy. Rather than the fun-loving guy she knows, he turned competitive, making choices that puzzled her. “He’d go on hunger strike to not spend money,” she laughed, while she enjoyed the local food.

While the adventure has its challenges, it also played a key role in helping Kelly face her fears. After a traumatic incident on a train, she found it hard to travel, but being on the show helped her tackle public transport again.

As they travel together, Kelly hopes the journey will allow them to create lasting memories, almost like a honeymoon. They haven’t had one yet, and this trip is certainly a unique way to start their lives together after getting married last year.
