OMAHA, Neb. — LSU fans kicked off their College World Series festivities in style on Monday, thanks to the presence of LSU royalty, Paul Skenes and Olivia Dunne. The couple was spotted at Rocco's, a popular pregame spot, as fans gathered to celebrate before the game against UCLA.

Skenes, a pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates, had the perfect timing for his visit. The Pirates had a travel day, allowing him to join Dunne, a former gymnast and social media star, in Omaha. He enjoyed a successful game just days earlier, throwing five shutout innings against the Chicago Cubs, and he won’t pitch again until Thursday.

“I’m thrilled to be here and support LSU,” Skenes said during the event. “The atmosphere is amazing, and the fans really show up.”

Dunne, who was also in attendance when LSU defeated Arkansas, joined Skenes at Rocco’s for the famous ‘Jell-O Shot Challenge.’ They were seen working together as they contributed to LSU’s efforts to break their own record from last year.

“We’re having a blast!” Dunne said, enthusiastically embracing the fun before the big game. “It’s always great to be around fellow Tigers, especially at such a big event.”

As the LSU Tigers prepare for their game against the Bruins, they are just two wins away from heading to the championship series scheduled for Saturday. “Having our royalty here is definitely adding to the excitement,” said one fan. “It’s great to see them here supporting the team.”

As the night unfolds, fans remain hopeful for an LSU victory. The pair’s presence has only added to the already electric atmosphere of the College World Series.
