Meanwhile, another team is in “active conversations” with multiple franchises to move a high-profile player who has expressed dissatisfaction with his current situation.

As the Feb. 6 deadline approaches, teams are closely monitoring the standings and evaluating how potential trades could impact their playoff aspirations. The Oklahoma City Thunder, for instance, have thrived with center Isaiah Hartenstein in the lineup, boasting a 23-2 record when he plays. However, injuries to key players like Chet Holmgren have exposed vulnerabilities in their roster.

In the Eastern Conference, the Boston Celtics have struggled recently, dropping to 13-11 since Dec. 7.
