New Pokémon Presents Broadcast Set for Pokémon Day 2025

REDMOND, Wash. — The Pokémon Company announced it will host a special Pokémon Presents broadcast on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 6:00 a.m. PST in honor of Pokémon Day. Fans can tune in via YouTube to receive the latest updates and announcements from the Pokémon universe.
This year’s presentation coincides with the anniversary of the original release of Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green, which debuted in Japan in 1996. Pokémon Day is an annual event celebrating the franchise, which has captivated audiences for nearly three decades.
Though details regarding the content of the presentation have not been disclosed, it is widely anticipated that viewers will receive updates on Pokémon Legends: Z-A, a new game developed by Game Freak set in the Kalos region of the Pokémon world. The game is expected to launch on Nintendo Switch later in 2025.
In addition to game announcements, fans should also expect information about updates for existing titles, including Pokémon Scarlet, Pokémon Violet, and others. The broadcasts typically feature developer insights, trailer releases, and special features related to upcoming games.
The Pokémon Company often commemorates significant anniversaries during these presentations. This year also marks the milestone anniversary of Pokémon Crystal, a classic title that served as an enhanced rerelease of the beloved Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver for the Game Boy Color.
Fans are encouraged to sign up for Pokémon emails to receive updates on this and future events. Pokémon.com will be the primary source for the latest news and links to the broadcast.
