NFC Standings After Week 6: NFC North Dominance Continues
The NFC standings after Week 6 of the NFL season highlight the dominance of the NFC North division. The Minnesota Vikings remain undefeated at 5-0, leading the division and the entire NFC. They enjoyed a bye week after their Week 5 win in London and continue to boast the best defense in the league, with a significant point differential of +63.
The Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears, and Detroit Lions are also performing exceptionally well. The Packers dominated the Arizona Cardinals at home with a 34-13 win, led by Jordan Love‘s four touchdown passes. The Bears had a strong showing in London, defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars 35-16, with Caleb Williams having his best game of the season.
The Detroit Lions, despite having only played four games due to a bye week, are 3-1 and still in contention. All four teams in the NFC North are currently in playoff positions, with the Packers and Bears both at 4-2 and the Lions at 3-1.
Outside of the NFC North, other teams are also vying for playoff spots. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Washington Commanders are tied at 4-2, leading their respective divisions. The San Francisco 49ers moved into first place in the NFC West with a win over the Seattle Seahawks.
The NFC Wild Card standings are highly competitive, with teams like the Atlanta Falcons, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, and Seattle Seahawks all on the bubble. However, if the season were to end today, the three Wild Card spots would be filled by NFC North teams, underscoring the division’s dominance).
