The highly anticipated Pakistan Super League 2024 is all set to kick off today on February 17th, starting with a thrilling match between Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United at the iconic Gaddafi Stadium.

The PSL 2024 marks the beginning of the 9th season of the league, featuring a total of six teams vying for the coveted title. The tournament is scheduled to take place in Lahore, Multan, Karachi, and Rawalpindi, with 34 matches, including knockout rounds, to be played over a month-long span.

One of the most significant changes observed in the upcoming season is the captaincy shift in Quetta Gladiators. South African batter Rilee Rossouw has replaced Sarfaraz Khan as the captain. Additionally, Sri Lankan all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga and West Indies spinner Akil Hussain have joined Quetta Gladiators for the 9th season.

For viewers in India wishing to catch the live action of PSL 2024 matches, the tournaments will not be telecast live. However, live streaming of matches will be available through the FanCode app and website, enabling fans to watch the entire season live.

The matches in PSL 2024 are set to commence at 8:00 PM, with the first double-header match starting at 2:30 PM. The final showdown is scheduled to take place at the National Stadium in Karachi on March 18th.
