Rafael Espinoza Boxing Match

San Luis Potosí, Mexico — Rafael Espinoza will defend his WBO featherweight championship for the first time in his home country on Saturday, November 15. The 31-year-old boxer, known as ‘El Divino,’ boasts an impeccable professional record of 27-0 and has held the title since December 2023.

This upcoming fight will be particularly significant for Espinoza, who has successfully defended his title three times, including a bout against Edward Vazquez earlier this year in May. “I’m happy and anxious to return to the ring, especially because it will be in my country, with my people. I want to show even more than I have demonstrated,” he said.

Espinoza will face Arnold Khegai, a 33-year-old Ukrainian challenger with a record of 23-2-1. Khegai has fought successfully in various countries, including the United States, Spain, Germany, and the United Arab Emirates, and has made his way into the top 15 of the WBO rankings. This match holds great importance for him as well, having waited a long time for such an opportunity.

“I know Arnold Khegai is tough and strong, and that motivates me to keep proving that I am ready for bigger things. I hope for the support of Mexican fans,” Espinoza added.

The main event is set to begin at 8:00 PM Eastern Time (7:00 PM CDMX, 10:00 PM Argentina), with Espinoza and Khegai expected to enter the ring around 11:30 PM Eastern Time (10:30 PM CDMX, 1:30 AM Argentina). Fans can catch the fight live on ESPN in Mexico and the rest of Latin America, while it will be available on Top Rank Classics for viewers in the United States through platforms like Roku, Tubi, and Vizio.
