Selection Sunday Reveals 2025 March Madness Brackets on March 16

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Selection Sunday for the 2025 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments is set for March 16, with the broadcast commencing at 6 p.m. ET on CBS. This crucial event unveils the 68 teams that will compete in March Madness, a highlight of the college basketball calendar.
The selection process involves a committee composed of conference commissioners and athletic directors who evaluate teams based on their season performance, strength of schedule, key victories, and relevant statistics. This ensures a competitive balance across the tournament brackets.
Adam Zucker will host the men’s Selection Show on CBS, with analysts Clark Kellogg, Jay Wright, and Seth Davis providing insights. Bubba Cunningham, the chair of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Committee, will also appear for a live interview to discuss the bracket.
The women’s Selection Show will be hosted by Elle Duncan on ESPN, featuring analysts Andraya Carter, Rebecca Lobo, and Carolyn Peck. Reporter Holly Rowe and bracketologist Charlie Creme will contribute to the coverage.
