Former NFL quarterback Tom Brady, who announced his retirement for the second time last year, revealed in an interview his openness to another return to the football field.

In a recent appearance on ‘The Shop,’ Brady entertained the idea of a potential comeback if a team were to reach out with an offer.

When asked if he would consider returning to play, Brady responded with a smile, saying he was ‘not opposed’ to it and highlighted that he was always in good shape and could still throw the ball effectively.

Brady drew parallels to basketball legend Michael Jordan‘s multiple comebacks, hinting that he hasn’t completely ruled out the possibility of returning to the NFL.

One key factor that could influence his return is Brady’s pending ownership in an NFL team. If approved, he would likely need league-wide approval to sign a playing contract should he decide to make a comeback.

In a light-hearted manner, Brady mentioned the New England Patriots and Las Vegas Raiders as potential destinations, jokingly considering a return to either team.

The last time Brady played in the NFL was in 2022 for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, concluding a historic 20-year tenure with the New England Patriots before joining the Buccaneers.

A seven-time Super Bowl champion and three-time NFL MVP, Brady is currently a free agent after his contract with the Buccaneers expired, making him available to all 32 NFL teams for the upcoming season.
