Toronto FC Signs Young Talent from TFC II for MLS Match Against Chicago Fire FC
Toronto FC has made a notable move by signing talented young players from their affiliate Toronto FC II for the upcoming MLS match against Chicago Fire FC on Saturday.
Markus Cimermancic, aged 19, and Hassan Ayari have been brought up from the TFC II team via MLS short-term agreements, allowing them to showcase their skills at the highest level of North American soccer.
Cimermancic, hailing from Kitchener, Ontario, has been a standout performer for TFC II, with four goals and eight assists in his 47 appearances over three MLS NEXT Pro seasons.
Ayari, a 21-year-old attacking midfielder born in New York City, joined Toronto FC II recently and has already made an impact with his goal-scoring abilities, finding the back of the net against Columbus Crew 2 in May.
Both players have shown promise and potential, with Cimermancic’s consistent presence in the TFC II lineup and Ayari’s international experience representing Tunisia at the youth level.
This transaction highlights Toronto FC’s commitment to nurturing young talent within their organization and providing opportunities for players to make the leap from the academy ranks to the professional stage.
