Atlético Nacional Liga Betplay Group B Matches

Medellín, ColombiaAtlético Nacional will kick off its playoffs on June 1, facing Once Caldas in Group B of the Liga BetPlay at the Atanasio Girardot Stadium. After a disappointing exit from the Conmebol Libertadores, the team, led by coach Javier Gandolfi, aims to regain momentum.

Following three straight losses in various competitions, Nacional seeks its first victory to boost morale. The team has seen recent struggles, having lost its leading position in the championship prior to the phase’s conclusion.

For the upcoming match, Gandolfi announced a roster of 19 players, which notably excludes Edwin Cardona due to injury, along with Matheus Uribe, Sebastián Guzmán, and Elkin Rivero. Key players like David Ospina, who has been called up to represent Colombia against Peru and Argentina for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, will play before joining the national team.

The playoff schedule shapes up with matches against rivals Millonarios, Independiente Santa Fe, and Once Caldas. After opening against Once Caldas at home, the team will visit Millonarios on June 4-5 and host Santa Fe on June 7-8.

The season’s final match in this segment will occur on June 19 when Nacional returns to face Once Caldas at Palogrande Stadium. Specific dates and times for these fixtures are to be confirmed by Dimayor shortly.

As the playoffs approach, Atlético Nacional is determined to overcome recent challenges and pursue glory in the Colombian football landscape.
