Steve Garcia David Onama Ufc Fight Night

LAS VEGAS, NevadaSteve Garcia and David Onama will headline UFC Fight Night on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, at 7 p.m. ET at the UFC Apex. Both fighters are riding impressive win streaks as they look to establish themselves in the competitive featherweight division.

Garcia (18-5) comes into the fight with a six-fight winning streak, highlighted by five knockouts. His last victory was a unanimous decision against Calvin Kattar in July. He attributes his success to a keen fight IQ, stating, “Some people have it and some people don’t. It’s about recognizing opportunities when they present themselves,” Garcia told CBS Sports.

Onama (14-2) enters the octagon with a four-fight winning streak, including a unanimous decision win in April. Known for his aggressive fighting style, Onama has earned two Fight of the Night and one Performance of the Night bonus during his three years in the UFC. He expressed confidence ahead of the bout, saying, “The guy’s good, but I don’t really see any danger,” and is optimistic about securing another Fight of the Night.

The co-main event features Waldo Cortes-Acosta challenging Ante Delija in a heavyweight clash. Delija, a former PFL champion, aims to take Cortes-Acosta’s No. 6 ranking. The stakes are high for both fighters as the heavyweight division lacks a plethora of contenders.

ESPN analysts predict a close matchup between Garcia and Onama. Betting expert Ian Parker predicts Garcia will win by knockout. “Garcia can maintain his power and high pace for three rounds,” Parker said. “Expect Garcia to win the fight on the feet with his volume and power. Onama has taken a lot of damage in the UFC, and a clean shot from Garcia could put him to sleep if he’s not careful.”

Fans can watch the prelims starting at 4 p.m. ET, also available on ESPN+ and the ESPN App. With both fighters eager to secure a victory, the bout promises to be an electrifying event as they look to climb the ranks in the UFC.
