60th ACM Awards Set for Star-Studded Celebration in Frisco, Texas

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – May 1, 2025 – The 60th Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM) will celebrate six decades of country music with a star-studded ceremony on May 8, 2025. The event will be hosted by Reba McEntire, a 16-time ACM Award winner, and will stream live from the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, starting at 8 p.m. ET.
This year’s show will open with a 12-minute medley featuring ACM Songs of the Year from across the decades, performed by Clint Black, Dan + Shay, Wynonna Judd, LeAnn Rimes, Sugarland, and Reba McEntire. With four of the featured artists having won ACM Song of the Year, fans can expect to hear hits like Dan + Shay’s “Tequila” and Sugarland’s “Stay.”
The lineup includes multiple collaborations, featuring Jelly Roll and Shaboozey, as well as Backstreet Boys and Rascal Flatts. Last weekend, Jelly Roll and Shaboozey performed together at the Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California, where Backstreet Boys were also on the bill.
New ACM New Female Artist of the Year Megan Moroney will also grace the stage, alongside previously announced performers including Alan Jackson, Chris Stapleton, Blake Shelton, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Ella Langley, and Zach Top, who won New Artist of the Year.
Raj Kapoor will serve as executive producer and showrunner, while Patrick Menton is co-executive producer. The show will be expanded to two-and-a-half hours to ensure the celebration of country music’s legacy. “It’s going to be an absolute can’t-miss show, and I can’t wait to be there with you,” McEntire said in a social media video.
The Academy of Country Music, which was established in 1966, is the longest-running country music awards show and previously made headlines as the first major awards ceremony to livestream exclusively via Prime Video in 2022. Tickets for this landmark 60th event are available on SeatGeek.
