Leading by 31 points heading into the final quarter, the Bulldogs faced a determined North Melbourne side that launched a late surge. Despite their late push, the Kangaroos fell short, allowing the Bulldogs to secure a 17-point win with a final score of 11.11 (77) to 9.6 (60).
In a strategic move, North Melbourne deployed Will Phillips to tag Adam Treloar, leaving Marcus Bontempelli with more freedom.
