Bulls Vs Kings Basketball Game Highlights

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Chicago Bulls pulled off a thrilling comeback to defeat the Sacramento Kings 128-116 on Thursday night at Golden 1 Center. Coby White led the charge for the Bulls, scoring 35 points, including a remarkable 31 in the second half.

Kevin Huerter contributed significantly with 25 points, along with five rebounds, seven assists, and four steals. He shot 9 for 14 from the field, with 4 for 5 from beyond the arc to finish with an impressive 24 points. De’Aaron Fox also had a standout performance for the Kings, scoring 34 points and recording five assists.

The Bulls entered halftime trailing 64-55 after a strong first half from Nikola Vucevic, who led Chicago with 11 points before the break. However, an 11-0 run in the third quarter shifted momentum. Chicago turned a five-point deficit into a six-point lead, outscoring Sacramento by 21 points in the final two quarters.

“We made the adjustments we needed at halftime,” said Bulls head coach Billy Donovan. “Our guys showed great resilience and determination. Coby really stepped up in the second half.”

White’s offensive explosion in the second half was pivotal, as he took over the scoring for the Bulls after the break. “It felt great to contribute to the team’s success,” White said. “We knew we had to turn it around after halftime, and we did.”

On the Kings’ side, Sacramento struggled defensively, allowing the Bulls to shoot 52.3% from the field. Nevertheless, they had a solid performance from their own ranks, with Harrison Barnes adding 22 points and six rebounds.

The key moment of the game came with 8:15 left when Huerter’s driving layup put the Bulls ahead for good. The final stages solidified Chicago’s grip on the lead as they maintained pressure despite attempts from the Kings to mount a comeback.

“We just couldn’t get stops when we needed to,” Kings guard Malik Monk said. “If we want to be competitive, we have to figure out our defense.”

Looking at the numbers, the Bulls’ ability to hit 15 three-pointers at a rate of 42.9% played a crucial role in their success. The Kings, meanwhile, struggled with a 3-point shooting percentage of 38.5%.

Next, the Bulls will travel to Los Angeles to face the Lakers on Saturday night, while the Kings will host the Denver Nuggets that same evening.
