Devin Singletary Injury Update

New York Giants running back Devin Singletary has been ruled out for the Sunday night matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals due to a groin injury. Singletary, who missed the previous week’s game with the same issue, was downgraded from questionable to out on Friday.

Singletary’s absence will likely see Tyrone Tracy Jr. take on a more significant role in the backfield. Giants coach Brian Daboll had earlier indicated that Singletary’s status was uncertain, describing it as being in a “gray area” during the week’s practices.

The injury has significant implications for fantasy football managers, many of whom were awaiting clarity on Singletary’s availability. With Singletary out, Tracy Jr. is expected to handle the bulk of the running back duties against the Bengals, who have struggled with defending against the run this season.

In addition to Singletary, the Giants have also ruled out punter Jamie Gillan and wide receiver Bryce Ford-Wheaton for the Sunday night game.
