Disney, Fox, And Warner Bros. Discovery Team Up For New Digital Sports Package

Disney, Fox, and Warner Bros. Discovery have announced a groundbreaking collaboration to create a new digital sports package that will bring together all their broadcast assets into a consolidated streaming offering. Dubbed the Great Rebundling, the new service aims to provide subscribers with access to a wide range of sports channels associated with the three partners.

Subscribers to the new package will have access to popular networks such as ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SECN, ACCN, ESPNEWS, and ABC from Disney; Fox, FS1, FS2, and the Big Ten Network from Fox; and TNT, TBS, and truTV from Warner Bros. Discovery.

This collaboration will include several leagues and conferences, offering viewers a comprehensive sports experience. While specific details are not yet available, the package is expected to include a variety of nonsports content as well, thanks to the partners’ agreements with different leagues.

However, it’s important to note that certain networks like CBS (including Paramount+) and NBC (Peacock), as well as offerings on platforms like Amazon and YouTube, including NFL Sunday Ticket, will not be part of this new service.

The pricing for the new service is still unknown, but it is expected to be offered as part of a bundle for those already subscribed to Disney, Fox, and Warner Bros. Discovery’s affiliated streamers such as Max, Disney+, and Hulu. For those without existing subscriptions, the cost is projected to fall somewhere between the typical price range of $15 for streaming services to the standard cable price of $100. Industry experts estimate it to be around $45 to $50.
