FBI: International Winter Premiere Reveals Special Agent Vo’s Fate
LOS ANGELES, Calif. — The fate of Special Agent Cameron Vo, a fan-favorite character on CBS‘s FBI: International, will be revealed in the show’s winter premiere, titled “The Kill Floor,” airing Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 9/8c. The episode concludes a gripping three-part storyline involving the manhunt for fugitive Greg Csonka, played by Beau Knapp.
When last seen, Vo, portrayed by original cast member Vinessa Vidotto, was critically injured during a shootout with Csonka’s henchmen. A bullet fractured her collarbone and struck a major vein, leaving her in shock during surgery. The cliffhanger left fans anxiously awaiting her fate during the show’s six-week hiatus.
“Csonka came in and really created chaos,” Vidotto said during a recent interview. “He sent his men to Los Angeles to rob people, and had Wes’s buddy killed. And then in Episode 8, he escaped,” leading to Vo’s life-threatening injury. In the upcoming episode, Csonka flees to Paris, setting the stage for a high-stakes showdown.
Vidotto teased that viewers will have to tune in to learn Vo’s fate, but she acknowledged the outpouring of concern from fans. “Our viewership is devoted, they’re invested, and that’s really nice to see,” she said. “Sometimes I wonder, ‘Do they feel connected to Vo enough? Are there scenes that allow people to see her in a different light, and not just a badass?’ So that’s really cool to know that they do.”
The FBI: International cast has faced its share of peril, with two other characters shot in previous seasons. Vidotto joked, “We had two of our cast in the past season get shot — Kellet and then Smitty. So I was like, ‘Oh! It must be my turn.'”
The winter premiere promises to deliver the intense action and emotional stakes that have made the series a standout in the Dick Wolf television universe. Fans of the show, which features international locales and the beloved dog Tank, are eager to see how the Fly Team navigates this latest crisis.
