Tokyo, Japan — Fans of the popular anime series Fire Force can mark their calendars for April 4, 2025, when the third season will premiere. The highly anticipated return will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll and Netflix, with episodes releasing every Friday following the debut.

The season’s first episode will air at 11:00 AM Pacific Time, or 2:00 PM Eastern Time in the United States, and 7:00 PM British Summer Time in the UK. The new season will span two cours, with the first part comprising twelve episodes broadcasted from April to June 2025, followed by the second part, expected to air in January 2026.

Fire Force, based on the manga by Atsushi Ōkubo, follows Shinra Kusakabe and the Special Fire Force Company 8 as they confront the devastating phenomenon of spontaneous human combustion. The show combines thrilling action with captivating storytelling, earning it a dedicated fanbase since its debut in 2019.

After a significant hiatus since the conclusion of Season 2 in 2020, fans expressed concerns over the prolonged wait. However, the announcement of Season 3 in 2024 reignited excitement within the community. The first two seasons, praised for their animation and depth, adapted 174 chapters of the manga, setting the stage for Season 3 to delve into the final arcs.

In a recent trailer, major plot points were hinted, including the kidnapping of Captain Akitaru Obi and the betrayal by Captain Leonard Burns, adding to the mounting drama as Company 8 faces formidable foes like the White-Clad. Fans have noted that the series thrives on its character development, particularly the journey of Shinra as he overcomes obstacles associated with his past.

Season 3 promises to bring closure to several plotlines, with a total episode count anticipated at 24, similar to Seasons 1 and 2. The series is expected to adapt 130 chapters from the manga, continuing the momentum built from previous arcs.

For those looking to catch up, both prior seasons are currently available on Crunchyroll and Hulu. With the impending release and major story arcs on the horizon, viewers are prepared for an exciting conclusion to the beloved series.
