Former ABC Journalist Nour Haydar Joins Guardian Australia
The renowned ABC journalist Nour Haydar has recently become a member of the Guardian Australia team. Haydar will co-host the daily podcast alongside Jane Lee, taking over from Laura Murphy-Oates, who has been selected for an Atlantic Fellowship for Indigenous Social Equity.
Haydar has been a part of the ABC since 2019 and served as an ABC federal political reporter in Canberra as well as a fill-in presenter for News Breakfast and Afternoon Briefing. She expressed her excitement about joining the Guardian Australia team and intends to bring a fresh perspective to storytelling. Haydar aims to create high-quality, engaging interviews, stories, and investigations for Full Story listeners that reflect the diverse nature of Australia.
Haydar will be joining the award-winning podcast team at Guardian Australia to begin her role as co-host of Full Story with Jane Lee in February. The Guardian Australia spokesperson praised Haydar’s experience and expertise and emphasized the value she will add to their newsroom.
