Access Park Gantry Collapse

On Tuesday, August 27, 2024, strong winds caused the gantry at the main entrance of Access Park in Kenilworth to collapse.

CCTV footage that circulated on social media demonstrated the moment the gantry fell, obstructing access from Race Course Road.

Adnan Chogle, the centre manager of Access Park, expressed relief that no injuries occurred as a result of the incident.

The shopping center remained operational, with shoppers redirected to utilize the Myhof Road entrance for access.

Chogle could not provide a timeline for when the main entrance would be reopened to the public.
