ATLANTA, Ga. — Atlanta Hawks forward Zaccharie Risacher has been cleared to play in Thursday’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers after being sidelined for injury maintenance. The rookie, who missed Tuesday’s game against the Houston Rockets, is now off the injury report entirely.

Risacher, the top pick in last year’s NBA draft, returned from a six-game absence on Monday against the Minnesota Timberwolves, logging 20 minutes. However, he was held out of Tuesday’s matchup for adductor injury management. His return comes at a critical time for the Hawks, as forward Jalen Johnson is expected to miss the remainder of the season due to a shoulder injury.

“Risacher is good to go for Thursday’s game,” a team spokesperson confirmed. “He is expected to take on a larger role in the second half of the season.”

In his last full game, Risacher delivered a standout performance, scoring 35 points against the Timberwolves. His return could provide a much-needed boost for the Hawks, who are looking to improve their playoff positioning in the Eastern Conference.

With Johnson sidelined, Risacher and other bench players are likely to see increased minutes and responsibilities. The Hawks currently sit at 18-27, struggling to find consistency in a competitive conference.

Risacher’s availability for Thursday’s game against the Cavaliers will be closely watched by fans and fantasy basketball managers alike. The rookie’s potential to contribute significantly in the absence of key players could be a turning point for Atlanta’s season.
