Hideki Matsuyama is aiming to achieve a rare feat on the PGA TOUR as he eyes a unique treble of victories at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard this week. Having previously won tournaments hosted by golf legends Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods, Matsuyama, the 2021 Masters champion, is seeking to add another prestigious title to his collection.

Following his recent triumph at The Genesis Invitational hosted by Woods, Matsuyama is poised to make history by claiming victory at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, an event that holds special significance for the Japanese golfer. As one of the Signature Events on the PGA TOUR, this tournament is played in Orlando, where Matsuyama is based when in the U.S.
