Lazio considering Galatasaray’s interest in Daichi Kamada
Italian Serie A club Lazio is deliberating over Turkish giants Galatasaray‘s interest in their attacking player, Daichi Kamada. Despite the attention he has garnered, Lazio is currently assessing their options regarding the 27-year-old Japanese attacker.
Kamada joined Lazio as a free agent during the summer transfer window after letting his contract with German side Eintracht Frankfurt expire. Negotiations surrounding personal terms were complex but eventually concluded with Kamada signing a one-year contract. Both parties agreed to an option that could extend the player’s stay at Lazio for multiple years.
Reports from respected source Calciomercato.com suggest that Galatasaray is genuinely interested in securing Kamada’s services and may make a bid for him in the upcoming January transfer window. However, Lazio’s current intention is to keep hold of Kamada until at least the end of the season. The club reportedly has a meeting scheduled with the player and his entourage for June, where they plan to discuss the possibility of extending his contract.
