Pedro Acosta Impresses in Debut MotoGP Practice Session in Qatar
Jorge Martin set the pace during the first free practice session for the Qatar Grand Prix at the Lusail International Circuit, with only 0.047 seconds separating him from Aleix Espargaro of Aprilla.
In a remarkable debut MotoGP session, Pedro Acosta showed his immense talent by securing the third position on the timing charts, impressing spectators and fellow riders alike.
Acosta, a former world champion in Moto3 and Moto2, made his presence known with a stellar performance, finishing just 0.071s behind Martin.
Amidst the attention surrounding Acosta, Marc Marquez transitioned to Ducati Gresini from Honda and managed to secure a solid fourth position in the opening practice session.
Both riders from the Marquez family showed promising results, with Alex Marquez finishing in the tenth position on the Gresini Ducati.
Defending champion Francesco Bagnaia had a slow start, coming in 13th position, hoping to improve in the upcoming sessions to defend his title.
