I Prevail Band Members Announcement

DETROIT, MI — I Prevail has announced that co-vocalist Brian Burkheiser is parting ways with the band. The decision was made mutually, as shared in a statement on the group’s social media earlier today, May 15.

“Today we share that we are mutually parting ways with Brian Burkheiser,” the statement said. “This was a difficult decision, but we believe it is the right one. We are all grateful for the 10 epic years we shared together. We wish Brian nothing but success and happiness in his future endeavors.”

The band emphasized that vocalist Eric will continue as the leading frontman, supported by Dylan, who has filled the role during past performances without Burkheiser. “Rest assured, we will continue to deliver the high-energy shows that we’ve made a pillar of our band,” they added. “All scheduled shows will go on exactly as planned.”

I Prevail will perform this weekend at the Welcome To Rockville Festival before kicking off the Summer Of Loud tour in the U.S., alongside bands such as Beartooth, Killswitch Engage, and Parkway Drive.

The statement concluded with an indication that new music is on the way, marking the band’s first release under Rise Records since their self-titled album in 2023. They will also support Sum 41 during their final live dates this month.
