Prime Video Renews ‘Fallout’ for Season 3 Ahead of Season 2 Premiere

NEW YORK CITY, NY – Prime Video has announced the renewal of its hit video game adaptation, ‘Fallout,’ for a third season. This comes ahead of the highly anticipated Season 2 premiere set for December 2025.
The show, which debuted in April 2024, has garnered over 100 million viewers, making it one of the top three titles on Prime Video. Season 2 will continue the story of Lucy MacLean, played by Ella Purnell, as she navigates the post-apocalyptic landscape of the Mojave Desert to reach New Vegas.
Executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy expressed their excitement, stating, “The holidays came a little early this year – we are thrilled to be ending the world all over again for a third season of ‘Fallout.'” They credited the talented cast and crew for their success.
Alongside Purnell, the cast features Kyle MacLachlan as her father, Hank, who was kidnapped by raiders, and Walton Goggins as the Ghoul, a bounty hunter with a complicated past. Moisés Arias and Aaron Moten also star, with Moten playing a rogue member of the Brotherhood of Steel.
‘Fallout’ has received critical acclaim, earning Emmy nominations for outstanding drama and lead actor for Goggins. The show is produced by Kilter Films and has seen widespread popularity, with strong international viewership.
