Randall Park And Ryan Reynolds Reprise Classic 'the Office' Bit In Teaser For John Krasinski's 'if'

Randall Park and Ryan Reynolds are bringing back a hilarious classic moment from the hit sitcom The Office in a new teaser for John Krasinski‘s latest film ‘IF’. The behind-the-scenes footage of the family movie starts with Reynolds talking about the project, but is interrupted by Park, who pretends to be Krasinski. Reynolds, however, is not convinced and challenges Park on his knowledge of Krasinski’s personal life. Although Park answers correctly, Reynolds still considers him an imposter.

The teaser pays homage to a prank from The Office where Park’s character pretends to be Jim Halpert, played by Krasinski. Complete with forged receipts, the teaser shows Park directing the film, engaging with the actors, and sharing his vision for the movie. Although Park does not appear in ‘IF’, the film does feature a reunion between Krasinski and Steve Carell, who voices the main character’s imaginary friend.

‘IF’ is a unique live-action and animated film that follows the story of a young girl named Bea, played by Cailey Fleming, who can see other people’s imaginary friends. It also stars Emily Blunt, Maya Rudolph, Matt Damon, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Louis Gossett Jr., among others, who lend their voices to various imaginary friends in the movie.

The film is set to be released on May 17 and is described by Reynolds as a ‘live-action Pixar film’. It combines heartfelt storytelling with innovative visuals to create a magical experience for audiences of all ages.
