Savannah Guthrie Drew Barrymore Tattoos Together

NEW YORK, NY — Television hosts Savannah Guthrie and Drew Barrymore showcased their friendship in a memorable way last week, by getting matching tattoos on camera. Guthrie appeared on Barrymore’s daytime talk show, set to air Tuesday, to promote her newly released children’s book and celebrate a significant milestone.

Guthrie received the exciting news that her book, “Mostly What God Does is Love You,” topped the New York Times bestseller list, selling over 20,000 copies. In a heartfelt gesture of celebration, she and Barrymore decided to commemorate the occasion with fresh ink.

Celebrity tattoo artist JonBoy, known for his minimalist designs, inked the two hosts. Guthrie chose sentimental hearts drawn by her children, Vale and Charley, placed on her wrist. Barrymore opted for a tattoo that simply reads “time.”

This isn’t the first time the two friends have shared this experience. During an earlier visit on Barrymore’s show last year, Guthrie revealed her first tattoo — a heartfelt tribute to her late father, which she described as an “exact carbon copy of my father’s handwriting.”

In her Wednesday appearance on the show, Guthrie explained, “He wrote a love letter to my mom, and this is his writing… It’s not only his writing, so he’s with me, but I’m trying to make it my mantra for life.”

Overall, the atmosphere on the show was one of joy and camaraderie as both women celebrated their ink and bond.
