MIAMI, Fla. — Sharelle Rosado, former fiancée of NFL legend Chad 'Ochocinco' Johnson, has publicly addressed their breakup, which occurred in October 2023 after four years of dating. Rosado, a star of Netflix’s ‘Selling Tampa,’ revealed the split in a now-deleted social media post and has since defended their relationship against claims it was a publicity stunt.

Rosado and Johnson, who share a 2-year-old daughter named Serenity, are featured in the new reality series ‘W.A.G.s to Riches.’ In the show’s first episode, Rosado refuted allegations that their relationship was orchestrated for public relations purposes. ‘If it was just PR, then we wouldn’t have a child together. Make it make sense,’ Rosado said during an interview. ‘People are going to speculate. At the end of the day, we know what we have, we know what we created.’

Rosado disclosed that she ended the relationship after discovering text messages from other women on Johnson’s phone. Despite the breakup, the two remain connected through their daughter and professional endeavors. Rosado owns Allure Realty in Miami, where Johnson’s eldest daughter, 26-year-old Jicyra Johnson, works. Additionally, Rosado will host a podcast under the Shay Shay media network, founded by Shannon Sharpe, Johnson’s co-host on ‘Nightcap.’

‘I think at the end of the day, we both respect each other’s role, and we’re still family no matter what,’ Rosado said. ‘If we get married or not, we have a child together. I still consider his kids mine. If they call me or need anything, I’m there, and vice versa.’

Rosado emphasized that she has no immediate plans to reconcile with Johnson, citing their busy schedules. ‘Right now, I’m focusing on myself, and he’s very busy,’ she told The Post. ‘We don’t honestly have time to focus on that right now. So when the time comes, if it comes, then I guess I can answer that question.’

Johnson and Rosado began dating in 2020 and got engaged in 2023. Their relationship has been a focal point of public interest, particularly given Johnson’s high-profile NFL career and Rosado’s rising prominence in reality television.
