Slipknot Rocks Madison Square Garden
Last Monday night, Slipknot took the stage at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York, delivering a fierce performance for their Here Comes The Pain tour. This concert was the fifth stop on their North American tour, celebrating the 25th anniversary of their debut album.
The band, made up of nine musicians known for their intense shows and unique style, treated their fans to a setlist of 14 songs, all from their first album, Slipknot. The night was filled with excitement as they played tracks like No Life and Scissors, which hadn’t been played live since 2000. Other songs like Get This, Me Inside, and Only One also made a comeback after being absent from their setlist for quite some time.
The lead singer engaged with the crowd, reminding them of the historic significance of the night. “Nothing you’re going to hear tonight was written after 1999,” he proudly announced. The concert kicked off with a powerful trio of (sic), Eyeless, and Wait and Bleed, setting the perfect tone for an evening filled with nostalgia and raw energy.
